Pirates Season

Pirates Season

This season is not longer played.

The Pirates Season is a 16 team, 16 game tournament where 16 of the best Pirates teams in MLB history play each other to determine who is the greatest Pirates team of all time.  At the completion of the 136 game season, a playoff will commence to determine the victor with the top 4 teams playing in best of 7 series.  Seeding is determined by run differential (RD) first and then head to head matchups if there is a tie.  The only qualification for this tournament is that of a Pittsburgh Pirates team that clinched a playoff birth. Each team will play each other once with an additional game played against my 16 team Great Teams Season.  Without further ado, let’s meet the participants.
